40 Days of Faith 2009

Hi All! Wow, it's fun to be back on this blog...I've missed it, and you, and praying together for big things. If you're game, I'd love to do this again this year, starting on June 1st, 2009. Our theme this time will be something I've been working on since last summer, an idea I've come to call PRAY BIG/BREATHE EASY.

There's an unavoidable tension between being brave enough to hope (and ask) for great things in life while living in the midst of a life that sometimes feels less than great. I'm hoping that together, we can find the grace and skill to find our way across that high wire between where we are and where we want to be.

At the very least, we'll spend the beginning of summer reminding each other, "Don't look down!!!"

See you then :)

I am excited that you are doing this again! I found this site through an interview of yours that I read and I have been going though last years 40 days of faith, day by day, and have been getting so much out of it. I am really looking forward to doing this in real time with everyone.

I'm excited to do this again. I didn't see the results I had anticipated the first time I did it, but I'm in a new place in my spiritual journey and am interested to see what happens.

I love the idea of supporting one another in our journey of more faith and deeper relationship with each other and God. Thanks Trish!
